Question:

Help with making 360 avatar larger?

I see some avatars...not the cartoony ones...but the personal ones...that are larger than 'normal.' I would like to know how to do this.

Please keep in mind I am not very computer literate. I've tried the opening it in 'paint.' Still comes out small as my avatar...or if I skew it...it just looks stupid.

Thanks...if you can help.

  1. try cropping it so that the main subject in the avvy becomes larger and the background is lost.

  2. When we bought the digital camera, it came with PictureProject.  What did yours come with?  I'm not to compoooter literate either, but it is pretty simple to go into "edit" and then it gave me a bunch of options on cropping, color, zoom, etc.

The photo on my avatar is of "Sam Colt" and I just took a whole bunch of him one day and thought this one was interesting.   I didn't crop it or anything, just had the camera zoomed in.  After he sheds I'll try to do it again as he has grown.

Hope you figure it out.  Wish I could see your avatar better.  Are you riding sidesaddle?  Looks like a beautiful horse!

  3. I'm with ya... speaking for myself-dummy on this stuff!!!  I want to know too!!!

  4. You need to crop the photo to shape with any photo editing tool before you upload it to you 360 page.
