Help with making protective gear at home for practice fighting?

ok my bro and i like to practice fighting and fooling around and what not, idc what u ppl think bout that so dont evn mention anythin bout that if u want the best answer, ok but in order to be safe i want to try and make what is equivalent to head gear/boxing gloves for our feet elbows and knees, and suggestions or ideas?

  1. First, fighting is dangerous.  But you know that because  you are aware that protective gear is needed.

    Making your own protective gear is pretty dumb.  You don't have the expertise to do this.  Otherwise you think you have something that will protect you but will fail when the time comes, leaving you with broken bones or worse.  You can never skimp on safety - bad injuries and even lives could be on the line.

    If you are dead set on beating each other up then at least get some decent gear from a reputable martial arts supply company.  I get my gear from Century most of the time but there are other equally good brands.  Of course, even the gear won't prevent some injuries.


  2. You could always get some closed cell foam (like the sleeping pads or shipping foam stuff) and cut using a pattern and sew/duct tape together.
