x/6 = 7

-3z = -18

r-3.5=16

-87 + b = -22.2

Thanks and remember tell me HOW TO DO THEM dont just give me an answer.

  1. This is simple factoring.

x/6=7, just multiply both sides by 6 and get x=7*6=42

-3z=-18, just divide both sides by -3 and get z=-18/-3=6

r-3.5=16, just add 3.5 to both sides and get r=16+3.5=19.5

-87+b=-22.2, just add 87 to both sided and get b=-22.2+87=64.8

    Hope this helps

  2. Well sory but I know the last one

subtract -87 to +22.2 you will get the answer

  3. x/6=7..

the equality is timed by 6..

so you got (x/6)*6=7*6 and x=42...

the other exercises, you can search by this way,,ok

  4. X/6 = 7

Even if it looks like a fraction, where the x is over top the 6, it still means that x is being divided by 6. Remember that fractions take a number (in this case X) and DIVIDE it into a certain number of parts (in this case 6).

    So to solve X/6 = 7

    multiply both sides by 6

    6X/6 = 7*6

the 6s will cancel each other out and you get

    X = 42

    -3z = -18

-3 is being multiplied with z, but you want to get z alone, so divide both sides by -3

    r - 3.5 = 16

again, you want to get r alone. In this case add 3.5 to both sides

    -87 + b = -22.2

get b alone by adding 87 to both sides

  5. x/6=7

You multiply 6 on both sides

    You will have x=42

    -3z=-18

you divide -3 on both sides, then z=6

    r-3.5=16

you plus 3.5 on both sides, then r=19.5

    -87+b=-22.2

you plus 87 on both sides, then b= 64.8
