    The only thing that could be said is that all values of y depend on what you put in for x.

    Now if you were to say that y equals 0 or you are trying to find the zeros of the equation, then the easiest way would be to use the quadratic formula.

    x = [-b ± √(b² - 4ac)] / 2a, where a = 3.227, b = 5.001, c = 3.435

    x = [-5.001 ± √(5.001² - 4*3.227*3.435)] / 2*3.227

    x = [-5.001 ± √(25.010001 - 44.33898)] / 6.454

    x = [-5.001 ± √(-19.328979)] / 6.454
