Help with moving pictures to a new computer?

i have around 10000 pics on my comp and i just got a laptop and i was wondering if anyone knew the fastest way to copy the pics to my laptop

just writ tehm to a disk or a usb stick and tranfer it across the computer teh usb stick would be teh best bet... how big is the file? and do you have a usb stick  buy a 2gb one if you dont they are a pretty average size. it might take a short hile but i cant think of a faster way.

or set up a network folder and connect your laptop to the network

the best way to do this, i would say is to just get a flash drive, preferably a 4gig or higher and just copy the pictures to the drive. keep them on your flash drive, its the best and fastest way to keep your pictures.

get a pen drive they are like 15 bucks and ask at the shop

about 2 GB of space!!

i also just got a laptop, and i found the quickest way was just fit as many as you can on a usb, and transfer them to laptop, and keep doin g that till all ur photo's are on ur laptop

Do you have a cable to connect the two computers together?  This is the easiest way or a memory stick.
