Help with my 22 rifle?

why does my 22 rifle jam up a lot i clean it and all that stuff when it

was new it never jammed up

  1. Good chance there are places that have been missed - dirt and grime behind the ejector, springs that look clean but have dirt on the inside.  Look over the manual - mal order or down load one if you don't have it - and be sure you are getting to all the nooks and crannies - not just the barrel.

    Next - try using different ammo.

    Next - chamber a round, do not fire, and eject it.  Look it over good - if the nose is distorted - you may have a bad magazine.  If it does not come out - it's an ejector issue.  Look for any marks along the brass - this would mean something is making the brass stick in the chamber.

    If none of this helps - re-write your question and be sure to include the make and model.  This way people who own the same model can tell you about some of the common things that have made thiers jam.

    Your question can't be answered without you giving us some sort of basic info to go on.  A simple *it don't work, what's the problem?" doesn't get you too far.
