Help with my 40 hoursepower omc 2 stroke boat engine!?

When I start the engine it runs for 2 minutes and then back fires, makes a loud pop and dies. What would this be caused by? I need help in order to fix this, please help.

  1. Im not an expert so i would suggest you go to a shop and get it fixed there
