use to stay over often. That was before she got pregnant. She and I were like the best of friends and used to love being around each other. Anyway, that is no longer going on now that she's pregnant. She's been acting like a , and excuse my using this word but, acting like a real b****. She takes everything out on my kids, who are 7 and 4 years old. When she's here, she expects them to remain absolutely still and quiet, otherwise they'll annoy her. Having been there done that, I totally understand that your hormones get the best of you when you're pregnant, but I don't like when people scold my kids for no good reason. Now if they're actually doing something wrong then okay, but kids this young can't possibly sit still and be quiet an entire day! I'm usually not one to keep my thoughts to myself or not put someone in their place, but she's my sister and I'm trying to be there for her. I should also mention that her fiance's over in Iraq serving in the Army. So, like I said, I'm reeeaaally trying to be nice and be there for her. Can someone offer me advice on how to approach her with this because it's getting to the point that I don't want her in my house anymore or around my kids for that matter.

  1. She should not be acting like that, especially since she will be having her own kid soon.

  2. if this is her first baby maybe she is just scared and with the hormones probably makes it worse for her i am currently 9 months pregnant and i know i snap for no reason i would approach her by asking her whats wrong and just letting her vent out whats been going on maybe there is a very good reason why she is behaving the way she is and after she is done venting maybe telling her how you feel about her taking everything out on you kids as well

  3. She's having that first-time-mother martyr complex. I'd suggest being kind and understanding but when she's being nasty, call her on it.
