Help with my 55 gallon tank?

i have a goldfish 55 gallon tank. somehow the water temperature keep go up to 80degre and im not using any heater at all. i use the thernometer tat stick to the side of the tank at the bottom. and also my tank water kinda white cloudy, wat should i do to get rid of it. and i only use 1 filter for my 55 gallon tank

  1. Yeah, direct sunlight can really heat a tank up. Some times that white cloudy look can be a bacteria bloom, which should clear in a couple of days.


  2. It is hot out, its July. The hotter water also will promote bacterial growth. Try evaporative cooling, point a fan at the tank and hopefully that will help a bit. Good luck!

  3. if it is in direct sunlight then it might heat up the tank. or if your room is warm your fish tank is in it can also make it warm.

                 oh  and about your fish tank being kinda cloudy it might be tiny little bubbles if it is new give it a week  and see if they stop.p.s. they should stop.
