I have AVG free 8.0, and If I empty a virus out of my virus vault, does that delete it?

Or restore it so it can hurt my machine anymore!

And please, no silly comment's like, Oh Norton is better, Or you should get avast.

AVG is the way forward ;)

  1. AVG is c**p [ just HAD too say that, lol ] but no,it can't escape and you should ALWAYS delete ALL virus'

  2. I'm not a fan of AVG V8, but if it works for you that's ok.

If you delete items from the Virus Vault they are safely deleted.  Do NOT Restore them as you will be reinfected. You can try to Heal them too, but if they won't heal then by all means select Delete which removes it completely with no chance of re-infection.

  3. Yes, its gone

  4. AVG will ask if you really want to empty vault (means delete files)

    say yes

  5. avast is good i would get Norton

  6. I think it deletes it of the system completely, but im not entirely sure and yes AVG is the way forward :) lol
