Hey, My Dutch Bunny Mix (i dont know what with i just know that his white stripe on his face is only a dot) has small white fur coming out of his black fur on his back. When i noticed this i just pinched this and pulled it out. The problem is it comes back. Its Pretty much just white fur growing over the black fur but its removable. When i go on youtube and search dutch rabbit, they look so clean and purely colored. how do i get rid of this white fur or better yet how can i make my rabbit look like the rabbits ive seen.

  1. Just leave it there.

It's a /mix/, not a pure, and the white is just comestic, not medical, so you pulling out the fur is going to cause more distress than anything else.

He IS clean- he's not dirty.

Just leave it there until he sheds it- it's not doing him any harm, it's just you humanizing an animal and thinking he's unclean when he's a rabbit and only cares about food, shelter, and humping.

  2. its just fur, my rabbit was grey when i bought her and 2yrs later she's almost black, dont worry your rabbit's fur is just changing colour
