I'm having a masquerade ball for my 18th birthday party, and the theme is "Fairy Tales From Around the World". I need help with decorations, food, and entertainment ((I don't want just dancing)). Any ideas?

  1. I would definitely have a photographer there to take photos of the costumes with a back drop of some sort also a costume contest and prizeswhy is just dancing so boring most proms and other parties dancing is the best partfood should be simple finger food buffetdecorations should fit the theme and have walls of castles and towers and frogs etc... maybe a local theater group would have some props you could rent

    sounds fun expensive and fancy

  2. If you have the money hire chinese trapeze artists and acrobats to mingle throuout your party in glittery costumes.  Have glitter streamers and balloons that will drop down at a certain time.  You could also have pastel colored streamers with glitter, all around the room, and fairy twinkle lights placed in various places all around the room.  (Not knowing what size room you have or renting)  Rent the movie Labyrinth with David Bowie and get ideas from that.  maybe you could create a Fairy tale maze...

  3. Have food that featured in fairy tales.  Make up labels for each dish.

    Snow White's Apple Pie

    Hansel and Gretel's Crumb Cake

    The Witches Gingerbread Cookies

    Princess and the Pea salad

    Rapunzel's Radish Relish
