Question:

Help with my PT cruiser

Have recently purchased a PT cruiser, (Chrysler) but the stereo doesn't work, although I have managed to get another one. I haven't got a manual, and I cant figure out how to get the fascia off to get the old one out, and put the new one in. My worry is that I will take the fascia off and wont be able to figure out how to get it all together again perfectly. Has anyone got a manual that explains how to do it. Sorry if this sounds a bit "female", but it is-and I'm blond, so be a little forgiving.

Thanks for your help.

  1. I would take your car to Halfords and pay them to fit your new stereo, their labour charges are very reasonable.

  2. I don't care who you are, car-audio is not something to be dived into!  You learn at the elbow of someone who shows you what to do, explains the possible pitfalls, isolates the battery and checks everything to prevent a fire...  Take it to an expert, it will be money well-spent, or ask a friend who has a good record of fitting car-audio.  i learnt from a friend some years ago, after having a go myself, and a little fire in my Fiat!

  3. go to a chrysler dealership park behind a mechanics stall and ask him to pop it off for you.  It helps to where something low-cut
