  1. You need top contact the breeder who sold her to you. He should not have sold a baby this young, She should be on 4 feedings and very little feathers. She should not even be out of the brooder. This is extremely dangerous for the bird. I would take her back to the breeder and wait until she is at least 6 to 8 weeks old. It would be best to wait until she is 14 to 16 weeks old after she is weaned.

  2. First off there isn't such a thing as a morrone African Grey. You have a Timneh African Grey w/ maroon tail. If you have a 4 week old baby it doesn't even have feathers yet. Someone sold you a baby bird to hand feed? What temperature do you feed your baby's formula? What kind of formula are you feeding? How many times a day are you feeding it. What does you book on African Grey Timneh's say about feeding a baby? What does this mean?  enough to waike her self us? I am not familiar with the new English can you tell me what you meant?

If you bought a hand fed baby that isn't weaned and you don't have any experience some breeder needs to be shot. It is hard enough to wean a baby if you know what you are doing. Selling a baby to an unexperienced person needs to be shut down. They should have at the very least suggested that you buy a book about rearing baby parrots by hand. It isn't for everyone and it isn't as easy as falling off a chair. It is a good way to number one, kill a nice baby parrot, and number two a great way to p**s money down a empty hole in the ground.

A baby parrot will bond with someone better if it isn't the person who hand fed them. A four week old baby will soon think that you are it's parent. When you wean the baby it will want to get as far away from you as possible. It is the way nature keeps them from being to inbred. It is really best to let someone else to hand feed the baby. When it is weaned and socialized then start to make the bird a pet. Hand feeding doesn't make it a better parrot. It makes it easier to tame them down to train them since they are not scared of people.

You need to submit more information than what you already have.
