Help with my axel?

okay. well.. i am so close to landing my axel.. i have it on 2 feet and its fully rotated.. all i need to do is land on one foot.. what are some drills i can do to help?? i have tryed "h-d pivits" walk-throughs, back-spin double-loop... WHAT ELSE?!?! is there anything i can do off-ice.. anything else on ice? HELP!!

  1. I HAVE THE SAME EXACT PROBLEM!!!!! i'm landing it now (most of the time) just try landing while keeping your arms in the air position so keep your arms in it helps me land it like a lot


  2. Normally if your two footing your axel it's because your leaning a bit in the air, or your landing slightly scrunched.

    Make sure you are perfectly upright when you take off and maintain this position through out the jump. Also try jumping with your legs a little more loose. Usually the two foot landing comes from when your trying to uncross those legs when you touch the ice. If your legs are a little looser it will be easier to get into the landing position. And land nice and tall, head and chest up. I two footed my axel for months before I was able to land it consistently on one foot. Don't worry. You'll get it.

  3. Instead of worrying about the landing, try for more spring. Getting a tiny bit higher in the air gives you that extra split second to unwrap the jump on landing--more time to rotate too. If you're two-footing your axel, jump higher.
