Question:

Help with my back? Disk problems.?

I'm 25 and just got an MRI back saying i have two bulged disks, and at L5S1 it's herniated and torn, and the disk material is leaking into my nerve pathway. I'm contstantly in pain, my feet are numb and tingingling a lot.

Any ideas what I can do aside from surgery to get some relief? I'm feeling really bad that I can't do any sports anymore, I can't even do a load of dishes. It's like my life as I knew it is over, and I'm starting to get depressed on top of the pain.

  1. You need to go get this fixed, there is not much you can do on your own, what happens is the disk/or disks, are touching a nerve, if a chiropractor can't give you any relief, a Dr. is the only way.

  2. I would recommend Qi Gong, which is a Chinese breathing/meditation technique that gets you more control over your body and it's functions. It's possible that enough practice in it may be able to help your body repair the damage from the inside. Of course before starting anything like that, consult your doctor first.
