Question:

Help with my bass guitar playing?

Alright, I'm gonna be honest here and say that I have small hands haha. nd when playing some songs on my bass, my hands just can't make the strech or can't reach the note in time and I usually end up having to slide my whole hand down.

Now my hand isn't like deformed small, just not fit for the huge neck this bass has. It's a Squire jazz bass.

My Question is, if I were to get a bass such as a Mustang Bass: http://www.fender.com/products/search.php?partno=0253900540

would it be better for me and make my playing better and easier ?

  1. Well that bass says it right there, it is good for people with smaller hands. Also although i am not a big fan of there bass guitars Ibanez is known to have slightly smaller frets on their guitars and basses.

-Funny how i was looking at questions for car audio, and i saw a question about bass guitar, which i happen to be a bassist myself.

  2. i would suggest an Ibanez bass guitar, i bought a GSR 100 model, it has a thinner and smaller neck, hope this helps
