Help with my butterfly kick.?

I can do the basic motion for a butterfly kick but my head is too high and my legs are too low. how can i even my body out some more? I'm having some trouble with the push off that gets me into the air, so that is probably most of the problem.

  1. let your inhibitions go. its like your first backflip on a trampoline. Once your body does it, you feel more free.   So get momentum foreward and pretend your chin soo kung!


  2. First you need to learn Paint the fence : Up  Down .

    Then Paint the House : Side to side .

    After that is sand the floor and wax on , wax off . But you need to learn the first two before that . ....ok !

  3. a good way to get higher and be straighter when you jump is to try doing momentum steps, if your already doing momentum steps then I'm not sure.

  4. The first kick is crucial. Also duck your head when first executing the first kick, jsut before executing the second kick, switfly arch up your head and spine to encourage a "lift off". Also.....hours of practice.
