My camcorder records videos on tapes but now when i open my camera to put the tape in the little cap thing doesn't open

  1. what kind of camcorder is it? many people ruin there camcorders trying to open a mech that is jammed. is there any damage to the mech like dropped or something that bent it,  or did it just stop opening one day?


  2. Press the metal cage lightly.  it shoud trigger the opening mechanism.
