this is my first month charting and I don't really understand the whole thing yet, so I was hoping some experienced charters out there could tell me if my temp spike was in fact a "spike", if it's a good thing, etc....... any info would be appreciated, THANKS!!!

  1. I chart on fertility friend too and it looks correct to me.  You had what was called a "fall back rise."  It's a normal ovulation pattern.  I would go with what they say because it looks like your OPK came out positive then too.  You BD'd the day before and the day of, so you should be pretty good!  Good luck!

  2. I'm pretty new to charting too. I paper chart, so I don't have a chart to link to show you mine.

But I had a spike early in my cycle like you did. Mine was b/c we had traveled to a different time zone (KY to CO) and it got me all messed up on my charting. I noticed your spike has a empty cirlce for the plot, which on ff usually means a temp taken at a time different than normal. Did you have a different time for that temp? (I'm talking about cd8).

I think you've clearly ovulated and even got a positive opk on the same day as your ovulation temp dip, so that's very good.

I hate to say, but its looking not so good for pregnancy this chart. With your temps dropping since 7dpo, that's usually a sign that AF is on her way. But I'm reallllllly hoping I'm wrong about that for ya!

    Lots of dust...

  3. Well looking at your chart I would have to say it's looks like a normal ovulatory chart to me, and with what your temps are doing now having risen and staying there and BD timing, this month is looking pretty good. Very nice chart you have there, and that's pretty much what you want to see happening. Fingers crossed this is your BFP month.
