Help with my computer. cpu turns on, but monitor doesn't show picture..everything is plugged in...?

-keyboard doesn't work

-monitor says active, and it's on, but it's a blank screen

-CD opens...

what's wrong?

if you have an LCD monitor it probably stopped working.. my friends computer was like that and she had to get a new monitor

Has something to do with mobo or video card. try taking out the video card and see if the on board video kicks in.
