  1. i was the same way withmines. it's nothing wrong with your contacts it just takes a lillte while to get used to. it's lke if you got a braces or something. the first week they'd get on your neres but after that you wont even feel them

  2. well if they're hard contacts, i totally understand. i have them, and they were very very uncomfortable. i used to them in a month. but it was worth it.

if they're are soft ones, there shouldn't be a problem. i had colored soft ones and they were just fine!

Maybe you should ask your eye doctor, that would really help.

    :)

  3. Its ok to feel the way you do right now because your eyes are just adjusting to them.

However, if it feels like this more than two weeks, go back to your doctor and ask him/her these questions. There may have been problems, etc, but for now:

If you eyes feel uncomfortable or dry, get eye drops for your contacts which you can either get from your eye doctor, or convenient drugs stores like Walgreens, Longs, etc.

Also, they may seem a little weird at first; things are blurry like you mentioned, but your eyes should also adjust to it. I hope your problems are worked out soon!

  4. When I got my contacts the first time I would feel them too but after a while I got used to them and didn't feel them anymore.

You did see an eyedoctor about this first right? if its still blurry after a few days maybe you should go back and have your eyes checked again.

  5. yes. it wil get better. also if u when u put it in ur eye it feels really uncomfortable take it out and rub ur eye a little and then out the contact back in.

  6. Up close thinsg will be blurry a bit, but thats normal. If you dont like it, wer glasses. Yes, your eyes need to adjust to the contacts as well, so dont fret. Your eyes will form to it and it will feel natural in a bout a day. Just keep wearing them.

  7. To be honest I haven't worn mine in a while so I don't remember if they affected my close up vision, but I'm inclined to say no. When I first got mine, I was in the same boat as you with them feeling uncomfortable. If they're brand new and they feel funny, they probably aren't the right contants for you. I started out with Acuvue Advance, and my eyes didn't like those. I now have O2 Optix which I find very comfortable, and they're approved for overnight wear in case you fall asleep in 'em =]

  8. Give it a try for few days. If is still feels the same try a different brand.

  9. the feeling u will get used to

    urr suppose to see perfectly

talk to ur optomitrist about it

  10. the weird feeling will go away and you'll soon forget your even wearing them, but i WOULD talk to your eye Doctor about the vision if its not the right prescription it could make your eyes worse

  11. I can read with contacts in, but i only could after my eyes adjusted to them. I've had them for maybe 5 months, but still can't focus on things about a foot away from me for too long.

They are going to feel weird the first few days regardless, but if they still do after that take them out and wash them with the solution. Put them back carefully and blink out bubbles. I was also allergic to the acuve oasis <? contacs. They dried out and really hurt and didn't get better. Good luck!!

  12. you'll get used to it for sure...after

a week you wont know they're there.

  13. Well, how weird do they feel? r they dry? sometimes that can make ur vision out of focus. Also try eye drops (not the contact solution) and if that doesnt help, try switching to O2 optix

  14. If they are soft lenses, make sure you don't have them inside out.  Sounds weird, but I have done it.
