I got 5 and a 20 gal tank

is it good enough for them?

one keeps on pooping

and idk why

  1. One goldfish requires a 20 gallon tank with 10 more gallons for each additional fish so you are very overstocked.  Your tank will be full of ammonia and your fish will suffer.

  2. goldfish are big waste producers...5 is way too much for 20 gallon...keep only 1 or max 2...depending upon their size...seriously they ll start dying in no time...Be sure to get a filter that is meant for a 200 gallon tank or over...trust me they need 10 times more circulation of water...cos they really messy...and return at least 3...also what kind of goldfish???fancy (double tailed) or common/feeder (single tailed)..either ways I would suggest 1...or get a tank twice the size of your current tank and keep 2..and then the filter will be again 400 or more...Penguin from Marineland is a very good filter brand...
