  1. Dont panic

    Its easy

When you connect your ipod to this new computer it will ask if you want to sync the ipod and replace the library.  JUST SAY NO

Exit out the prompt and dont do it.

This will put your ipod into manual mode.  The manually managed box should be checked on the summary page of the ipod in itunes.

This will let you copy the songs from your ipod to your computer.

Its totally safe.  I have been using it for years.  Its fast and its free to use.  You will just get prompts every 50 songs asking you to pay for it if you dont buy it, but you just exit those prompts and never have to actually pay for it.

I strongly suggest you keep your ipod manually managed and dont sync.

If its manually managed it can be used on any computer with any itunes library and nothing  gets deleted unless you delete.

Drag and drop songs from the itunes library to the ipods name to add songs.  Right click and delete from the main music list under the ipods name to delete from the ipod.

You can get music from any itunes library if its manually  managed and then you can put the music on your computer with this program.

The program also scans your itunes library and your ipod and lets you know whats not on your computer yet.

  3. well depending on which ipod model u have it might not work. but when u first plug in ur ipod a file opener should click up and u just open up the file and select the songs u want to transfer. make sure ur ipod is on manual. i dont think this works for the iphone and ipod touch.
