  1. 5 miles = 4 hrs

    x miles = 8 hrs

Find the relationship between the first and the second equation. The second one is twice as much as the first one so 5 * 2 = 10 miles.

Or u can do a much more mathematical way.

Multiply 5/4 by 8. In case u were wondering what's a 5/4, it's 5miles/4hrs. U have to grab the numbers out of the problem.

    8 * 5/4 = 10 miles

Ooooooh!~ They both have the same answer!

  2. 5 miles = 4 hours

    10 miles = 8 hours

    10 miles

  3. 8 * 5/4 = 10 miles
