  1. Have you given her regular "cow's" milk?  That could be the cause.  OR, it could be that she's picked up an intestinal parasite called "Coccidia".  This happens a lot with kittens, once they start using litter boxes.  It's very treatable........just take her to the vet, have a fecal test made, and get the correct meds for her.  If it's not a parasite, the vet will be able to tell what the problem is......so, for her health's sake, take her in tomorrow.

    Good luck..........

  2. She is too young to be away from her mother, you need to go get her some Kitten Milk at Pet Smart. I would also feed Gerber Baby Food strained Chicken. Watch the loose stools and I would take her to the vet in the next day or too, she may be ill.

  3. kbrisky7 is right.

I would try to feed the kitten canned cat food. It is soft enough for kittens to chew. But if you must give your kitty milk try goat milk.

    Good luck!

  4. if you are feeding her milk, I would stop.  Despite traditions, many cats are lactose intolerant and milk gives them the runs.  I would also call a vet because runs can be a symptom of many diseases.

  5. Have you changed her food recently? Sometimes that the reason. I would suggest taking her to the vet anyway just to make sure.

  6. kittens are sensitive to lactose which is in our human normal milk

try to feed it free lactose milk for kittens

also if u r just giving it normal cat food, stop immediately and switch to kitten meat with kitten biscuits, kittens are just like human baby's they need their proteins but not so concentrated as an adult

  7. Take her to the vet if you can. 4 weeks is very young, a cat that young should be supervised by a vet. If you can't afford it, at least call a vet to ask about it.

That being said it's not unusual for kittens to have loose stools like that. It's a big pain and can be a big mess, but it does seem to be a phase many kittens go through.

  8. You are implying that you have an orphan kitten, who is separated from its mother.  I have provided a link, and the section you want to consult is on raising orphans.  Not showing signs is much different than not having anything wrong.  The kitten probably has worms, ear mites, and possibly other problems.  That sort of comes with stray kittens.

Dietary changes often result in loose stools, so pay attention to the link as for diet.
