Help with my scholarship application essay?

can anyone give some checklist i should consider when i'm writing a scholarship app essay?

i dont know how to do it with a great appeal, coz it's my first to write one.

Almost all scholarship essays want to know about you.  What makes you different from all the others applying for this scholarship, and what will you do with your education if you get this scholarship.  

Try to be natural and honest.  Be careful with humor, it's so easy to offend people.  

Essays that show you want to make a difference in the world are great.
