It clearly says on my speedometer it can go up to 70 mph. But my seadoo is stuck on 35 mph for some reason and it doesn't go above.I'm thinking there is something stuck in the jet at the back of it, but i haven't checked. Also when I first got it it was only going 35, but when i was driving it like unlocked at it went up to 70. Ive tried to "unlock" it again but it doesn't work. Please help

  1. had the exact same issue with our bombardier '96 GTI... we just cleaned out the carbaurator and took off the govern and its now doing 50.. how your doing 70 might be because you have the GTX/S but we dont have that but just take out the govern and just clean out everything and should be good again... i know its easier said than done but im sure you can find a mechanic who would do that for you

  2. sounds like a training key issue. but the secondary valves may not be opening for some other reason.

either way to the shop you go.

  3. those seadoos come with a training key is it possible your using that instead of the regular key, training key is set to roughly that speed for many models, it limits the rpm to a certain speed

as well when the seadoo computer detects a malfunction or possible damage it can limit your speed as well to prevent more damage, check your manual if you have it ,for more info on that, otherwise off to the dealership you go
