  1. Step 1 - Extend your left arm to toss the ball in a relaxed manner.

Step 2 - Toss to the height of one and a half of your racquet length with your arm stretched upwards.

Step 3 - your racquet should be scratching your back now and arching your body.

Step 4 - Reach upwards and rotate your hip at the same time while observing the throwing motion.

Wala, you have a good serve by now... Cheers.

  2. 1. Don't toss too high, that is a basic mistake many people make.  Toss it just high enough so that when the ball is at the highest point you can hit the ball just as  you make a full extension.

    2. Hit the ball in front of your body, not directly above your body (this means you have to toss the ball slightly in front of you).

    3. Keep your tossing arm stiff so that when you toss the ball there is no spin on the ball and the ball goes straight up (in front of you).

    4. When you actually hit the ball, turn your body square to the court so that you are facing the net with your front (you start the serve kind of diagnonal, so that means you have to step in with your right foot and twist as you jump up and forward in the serve).

    5. Keep your grip almost like a one-handed backhand grip, with minimal angle in your wrist.

    6. A good contact goes like this.  Swinging upward at the top you hit the ball, and extend the wrist so that the racket now goes "through" the ball and over and down to the left of your body.  That's a basic topspin serve contact.

  3. 1. toss the ball in front of you. i make my arm straight

    2. when you strike the ball, make it go diagonal

    3. don't toss too high
