Help with my sister's american girl doll' s hair!!!?!?!?!?

Question

my sister recently got an american girl doll.

within 2 month she totally trashed its hair... now what do we do to fix it??

. its the josefina doll

. its hair is looking very ugly

.its tangled and messy and just horrible...

should cut it ??? should we wash it???

oh..also the reason for this is because my sister slept with it.. she took it with her to bed......

Send the doll to the american girl hospital. The doll will get a new head and it will get a certificate. I think it costs money to go to the hospital though. Look in the catolog and the site for more information.

Wet it and comb it. And cut the spilt ends?!

OMG! I had the same problem with my Josefina Doll and now she is in the hospital and i am desperate to have her back! I am pretty sure the only way to fix it if it is that bad it to send her to American Girl Hospital and PURCHASE RUSH SHIPPING! Do NOT cut it, and DO NOT wash it unless it is dirty, i have gone through the expirience and have tried everything! All you have to do is send her there and and when she comes back, use only a wire hairbrush, DO NOT wash unless it is really dirty and  do not sleep with her. She should be fine.

try to gently brush the hair and maybe you could try to wash it with like a gentle shampoo and conditionar

remeber the hair wont grow back

you can take it to an American Girl Doll place and have the head changed. since your sister only had it for 2 months, i don'tt think that she will notice if the head is changed. They will put the same doll's head on it, but it wont be the orriginal head that the doll came with. If you dont live near an American Girl Doll place, you can send it in with info that is in the catalog. You can also take it to the American Girl Doll Place and they have a spa there. The spa can brush out and do your sister's doll's hair.
