Help with my splits!!!?

Im 13 and very unflexible and i want to learn to do my middle splits fast!! Any suggestions?

  1. ok i am a former gymnast and my coachs always made us go to a wall and lay on our back with our butt to the wall and do the splits like that for an hour or two with ankle weights on...it will hurt a lot but if you do it for 2 or 3 hour 2 or 3 times a day it helps


  2. The fastest way i feel to learn your "middle splits" are to find a wall(make sure you have space) and sit with the wall in front of you and your feet touching the wall. Slowly open your legs pushing towards the wall (hold for several min.)and mark your extention with tape or pencil. come back as often as necessary and continue going farther than your marker. eventually you should be able to sit in the splits

    Remember not to push yourself to far against the wall causing a pull in the muscle (it shouldn't hurt)
