Help with my stock 2003 Mitsu Galant Stereo!!

Question

I drive a 2003 Mitsubishi Galant, and one day the audio cut off and ALL the speakers started making a really loud crackling sound (exactly like tv snow), and whenever I would turn off the stereo the speakers would still be making this loud noise. So now I don't get any noise out of my speakers at all, even though the player still works fine. Does anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it?

the speaker wires are probably touching each and perhaps it causes them to get blown out maybe you need to replace them..
