Ok, so, I'm 15, and I'm a sophmore, and recently just got out of a little punk rock phase [my boyfriend of 2 years cheated on me with some girl in california...yeah..] and I want to get back to really girly preppy high fashion, like I was before. The only problem is that my family is kind of going through a money crisis right now [my dad just lost his job because they're moving to Tennessee] and I only have $95 to spend on myself. Do you know where I can shop to achieve the girly preppy high fashion look??? And please leave out Forever 21 [given, my fav. store] and places like Aero, Hollister, A&F, and AE. I try to stay away from brand names. =]

  1. girl i hear yah!!! umm thrift stores are nice.. you just gotta make sure you wash the cloths before hand... try eBay, rummage sales, anything really!! old navy is pretty cheap and they have A LOT of the so call in style!! well i hope everything works out GOOD LUCK!!

  2. Image is an awesome store , all preppy.

    5-7-9 is great too.

Kohls has a new clothing line " Candies" thats all preppy as well.

  3. i'd hit up the thrift stores near you and find the kind of stuff you're looking for with a more vintage vibe.

jsut make sure to run the clothes through the wash a few times before wearing them

and for preppy, i'd tell you to stick to polos, mini skirts, flats (which includes tennis shoes like vans authentic, or chuck taylor low tops), and sliver accessories.

  4. jcpenny, kohl's, targer, walmart, dellars, and stores like that they have cute clothe but not to expensive. Try to look for the sales that ways u willstretchh the amount of money u hav.

  5. You could try Max Rave (maxravestores.com) just go to the website to find a store near you. Or Wet Seal, Rue 21, Charlotte Russe.

  6. theres old navy , jc penny , you know try all non brand names because these are stores that have everything urban outfitters is the only preepy store i know of that isnt that expensive and its not a bran store

  9. believe it or not, walmart and target have really cute clothes. in my opinion target has cuter clothes than walmart, though. plus, everything cheap there so you get a lot for your dollar.

    hope i helped!

edit: oh, and if theres a "Plato's closet" near by you can go there. they have name brand stuff for cheap. (hollister, abercrombie, hollister, forever21, anything you can think of)
