Help with mygig Stereo?

Question

I just got a new avenger and it has the mygig radio. I bought a usb flash drive to put music on it so I can download it to my radio's hard drive but it only accepts mp3's and where i'm getting my music from is itunes where all of my music is. So i'm just clicking and dragging to my flash drive but how do i convert it to a mp3? Please explain how I can do this. Thank you soo much.
