Help with ndsl......?

Question

right i have a nintendo ds lite that has been pretty much abused, both hinges are snapped and washing up liquid soaked through the start+select buttons - making the touch screen a non-responsive on the bottom right hand side.

if i get a replacement touch screen/top lcd screen and shell - then put the inside parts of the broken ds into it, is it likely to work or will i need replacement components for underneath the touch screen?

it depends if all the electrical components are damaged that motivate the touch screen but if not then maybe but get an expert or some one who knows how it all goes together i hope i have solved your problem if none of it works then i would advise you to get a second hand one from ebay or your local game store :) :)
