Help with new friends. Freshman?

It is my first day in 9th grade in a new school in a new city. I made some friends on the first day, but then I learned that 2 of them are on probation, and they all smoke and do drugs. That isn't the part that bothers me at all though. I don't care what they do. But anyway, they are all very violent and they hit me every 2 seconds. And they cuss all the time. I have no problem with swear words, I have been cussing since 2nd grade. But they say 1 word over and over and over and over and over and over and over. Or they say one sentence with 100 cuss words and 2 actual words.

It is only the third day of school, so should I put up with them, or ignore them until I get new friends?

I wouldn't ignore them since you said they're violent. Druggies can get insane and weird about little things, and you don't want them hating you for ditching them. i would just gradully pull yourself away from them but still be friendly and civil to them, just don't hang out with them. Trust me, thats the last group you want to become close with and the very last group you want to be on their bad side.

ditch them because being a druggie is a horrible life and these kids sound like ppl that noone should want to be around i dont even know why this is a question they dont want to be your friend they want to use you as a punching bag

ditch them in the long run they will be bad on you. try to join a club, or a sport you like or do something you enjoy you will make friends.
