  1. In outlook you need to click on file then select import and export.  Choose the first option export to a file and click next.  Choose the option Personal Folder file (.pst) then click next.  Select the contacts folder and tick the box to include subfolders just in case. Click browse to save the folder to somewhere where you can find it easily.  If you are using an external or flash drive choose that location.  When you transfer the folder to the other computer you can do the reverse by choosing import and export and selecting import from another program or file and follow the instructions.

  2. go to my computer, then c drive, then program files, then look for outlook express.... in that folder is your address book. just save it to disk or email it to the other computer and put it in the folder you got it from on that computer.

  3. There are a couple of ways to do this.

You can use Import/Export on the file menu (its pretty obvious in what order you do this!)

But I find the best is to create a new personal folder file (File>New>Outlook Data File), then COPY the contacts from your normal folder location to that folder file, then CLOSE the folder file and simply copy it to the new machine. You can then open it using File>Open>Outlook Data File and copy the contacts to the default contact location.

    This preserves all contact settings.
