1. Three horinzontal forces are applied to a etal ring. On of the forces is 10 newtons, and a second force is 12 newtons at an angle of 100o from the first. Fid the third force, such that the ring is in equilibrium, i.e, the sum of the three forces is zero

  1. First of all, make sure you use a vector diagram to calculate the Net Force on the ring, which should be 0 Newtons. From there, add up your vectors, and find the magnitude and direction of the third force.
