A block is pushed up a 40 degree incline by giving it an initial velocity of 10 m/s up along the incline. The block will slide up the incline an amount L and then it will start to slide down the incline until it reaches the bottom again. Assume the coefficient of kinetic friction between the block and the incline is 0.7.a) Determine how far up the incline the block will slide (i.e. the value of L) before it stops and then beings to start sliding down again. b) Determine the speed of the block when its back at the bottom of the incline. My friends and I have tried this problem multiple times and would love another opinion... Thanks to those who help!
