  1. in a day (24hr) it would increase 1.6x (24x60)

                                                               1.6x1440

                                                                 =2304mg or 2.304g

    B) it would take 3.47222222222222222 days

    (8.0x10^-3kg) means 8 times 0.001 kg which equals 0.008 kilograms or 8gram

  2. (A) A day = 24 hrs x 60min = 1440 minutes

         So brain mass increases 1.6 x 1440 = 2,304 mg = 2.304 g in 1 day

    (B) 8x10^-3 Kg = 8 g

         To increase 8 g, it takes 8/2.304 = 3.47 days

    Did this help? Cheers.
