  1. i think that anything customized would be somthing great and from the heart..do a web search for customized wedding gifts or just customized gifts and there will be dozens of websites with tons of great gifts..good luck

  2. I used to give Kamasutra book (a book which discribes all about s*x as an art). Or some traditional cloth that can be displayed as an interior stuff. I can help you to look for this kind of gift, exp. for cloth such as kain songket, batik, kain ulos, saroong, etc. Please concatc me at deivory_ath@yahoo.co.id    if you eager to know further information. Thank You.

  3. I think you should give the wedding couple something memorable from the heart. Custom handmade figurine is a unique gift for everyone!

I would highly recommend you visit http://aweddinggiftidea.com

Their professional artists will make a wonderful figurine of them. I sent them my favorite pictures of my sister and they made incredible "mini-me". That was awesome! My sister was very, very touched and pleased when I gave it to her as wedding gift.

  4. I Think Dishes, Clocks, Cutlery, Things For The Kitchen, ETC, Stuff Like That.

  5. http://www.personalcreations.com

    then go to wedding section

  6. One of those digital frames that put up photos every minute, like on the computer.Ask her mother and the husband to be's mother to give you some of their baby photos to put on it,and some of you and her, then they can add, their personal photos, wedding, future babies etc.cheers

  7. I think you should stick to the registry..but get them something that has relevance to you. For instance for my wedding a good friend boughtus a digital frame ( she is a photographer ) and another got us a Klimt artbook ( our fave artist ).. We used to study art together back in the day, and it had the nicest inscription..

    Good luck with your choice!

  8. I do love the idea of the digital photo frame, but think it's not the best idea for a wedding present and think you should go with something a little more personalized.  I think a nice sterling picture frame with an engraving of the date of their wedding is a nice idea (who buys really nice, expensive picture frames for themselves?   All mine were certainly gifts!)

There's also the old fashioned but still wonderful idea of the invitation in the presentation box.

I think to have a gift be completely personal and from the heart, your best bet is to go with something engraved with their wedding date on it and something like "on this day I married my best friend."  The options are endless.  You can go to Tiffany if they like that sort of thing, or get them a crystal clock with an engraved plaque attached...but something that they probably wouldn't buy for themselves, but will always have and cherish.  I remember my parents getting a silver tea set for a big wedding anniversary and some of the silver items were engraved, and they were wonderful things to have in the home and then pass on for the generations to come.

    Good luck!
