Help with planning trip to Mexico?

My boyfriend and I are planning a trip to Mexico and aren't quite sure where to start. First off, do we need a passport? I've been to Mexico on a cruise before and didn't need one. Secondly, we aren't sure where exactly to go. I don't know many places in Mexico besides the normal; Cancun, Cabo, Puerto Vallerta, etc. What are your favorite places and why? And lastly, how much money are we looking at spending between the two of us? We want to have a comfortable, good time but not extravagant (we mostly want to relax on the beach with drinks.) Thanks so much in advance for your help!

  1. Cabo San Lucas.  here are the info you need to know about cabo:  Have Funn

  2. If you FLY to Mexico, you MUST have passports.  If you travel by LAND or SEA, passports will not be required until a "later" date that has not yet been set but will be later than next summer.  See 1st website below to read current info. See 2nd site fot all passport application info.

  3. You can find a hotel room with a water or beach view in Mexico from $25 to $250 or more a day so it really depends on your budget, what you want or need and where you go.My favorite places are quiet, inexpensive and a little harder to get to than the three you have mentioned.Mexico has over 6000 miles of coastline so finding your own perfect beach is usually not a problem. Feel free to email me if you have any other questions or concerns.

    Buen Viaje!
