Help with pokemon dungeon explorers of darkness???

Question

ok i am at the dark crater and when i battle darkrai i beat the arbok, magmortar, rhyperior, and macargo but then my partner or cresselia always gets wiped out is there a way for me to easily beat him????

Me- Piplup- Hydro Pump, Drill Peck, Water Pulse, Brick Break. Lv. 58

Partner- Chimchar- Flamethrower, Brick Break, Facade, Flame Wheel. Lv. 58

And then the cresselia

P.S. i've battled darkrai like 3 times already whats a good tactic to take out the other pokemon, and if i beat darkrai first will all the other pokemon leave??

i do not remember what i did to kill him but if you take him out all of the other pokemon will still be their

SHOWDOWN WITH DARKRAI-> don't get too close to darkrai as it's move NIGHT SHADE will deal a fixed amount of damage to all the pkmn in the 8 squares surrounding it. in this battle 53 points. hit darkrai with a STUN SEED to immoblize him it & then take out the other enemy pkmn first with mass attacks...glad 2 help :)

i believe you do win if you beat darkrai, if not try to learn a tm that attacks all in the room, i was a swampert lvl ?? and used blizard to get rid of everything then focused on darkrai. another good attack if you only have to kill darkrai is to use endeavor.
