I am in desperate need of a tick repellent for use on people that really works! Every time I set foot outside to do any yard work, it never fails, I come in with a tick bitten into me, sometimes two! I wear long pants and sleeves, socks, a hat... and they still manage to get under my clothes and dig in... I can't hide from the outdoors, there's too much to be done. Can anyone recommend any sprays, lotions, etc? Home remedies are welcome.

Thanx much!!

  1. Lemon cologne spray & Avon skin so soft dry oil.

  2. OFF, the bug spray, offers a spray with a higher concentration of deat. It comes in smaller bottles, but it works great and still keeps the other blood suckers off of you too.

  3. I have a real problem with insect bites - I am allergic to them and react terribly so I have probably tried everything on the market over the years - I have found the most effective and in the long run  cheapest is pure essential Citronella oil - you only need a few drops at a time so a little goes a long way and it's far more environmentally friendly than chemical sprays like Wood's Off!
