Help with putting video on ipod?

Question

I just converted an AVI to mp4 with "MediaCoder" and am having trouble getting the video onto itunes. Every time i go through "Add file to library" nothing happens. I try to just drag, and still nothing happens. I'm working with windows with a new ipod classic. i need help asap. Going on vacation in an hour.

Make sure your computer recognizes the ipod just because you see your play list doesn't necessarily mean your ipod is plugged in make sure you see your ipod in the section that says My Device

mostly it due to the quality of the converting tool,try another  professional third party software to convert your videos to MP4 videos,

i recommend the iSkysoft iPod Movie Converter,it's easy to operate and support free upgrade.

iPod accepts only MP4 format video, If your video is MP4 video, just follow below steps to add video to iPod.

1. Open iTunes and click "File" to add your videos to iTunes library.

2.Then plug in your iPod to computer, iTunes will detect your iPod as a device. select your iPod device on the left panel of iTunes, click "Movies" tab, check the videos you want to sync and click "Apply", done.

If your video isn't MP4 format, you need third party software to convert video to MP4, I always use Aimersoft iPod Converter Suite, it can easily convert video to ipod with high quality, that's really good, you can check it out here for free:
