  1. ipconfig just tells you if your modem is communicating with your computer, it gives you ip address, subnet mask etc. in order to get the same results of the ip address you will have to be connected to the same router or modem.

  2. You have enabled IPV6, yes it is the FUTURE, but you can disable that for a while there is a box in your network connections if you are using XP you can right click my network places and go to properties, then right click your NIC (network interface card, usually called Local Area Connection in XP, then  in the General tab look for IPV6 uncheck that, restart the computer, and run Ipconfig /all again, VOILA, problem solved.

BTW, whenever you need the IPV6 back just check that again, in 5 or 6 years from now.

  3. That looks like it's using IPv6...I'm afraid I can't help you because I don't understand IPv6 myself...

  4. You appear to be connected directly from your computer to your modem whic is connecting you to the ISP's network.

Most of what you see is how you ISP has configured his system.

About the only useful piece of information here is that your IP address is  10.0.1.3

The real information about the system is being hidden from you (and many others) so that the system can remain secure

  5. It is in the most useful format. The thing you are probably looking for is the IP address, which is 10.0.1.3. The other stuff is IPv6 addresses and MAC addresses. If you are just trying to figure out issues with a network connection, it seems like your computer is connected to a router.
