Help with rational numbers?

Question: If a fraction has a denominator of 0, is it still rational? I know that it is undefined, but is it still a rational number?

  1. no but 1 can be a rational number because it can be written as 1 over 1.

    just remember that a rational number is anything that can be put in fraction form. irational numbers cannot. like a the square root of negative 2

    "By definition, a rational number is one that can be expressed as a ratio of two integers. 0 is not an integer, hence a fraction with 0 in the denominator is not a rational number.

    Edit: sorry 0 is an integer. however, a rational number is defined as a number that can be expressed as a ratio of two integers m/n where n is not 0
