Help with remote start questions for 2004 f150?

I found a cheap remote start for about $60 and want to know if all i need is the remote start itself for it to work or will i need a bypass or something like that?

All you need is the remote start. Just be sure to hook up the kill switch to the brake pedal. Follow the instructions carefully and know all the wires needed before splicing into anything. And disconnect the battery during installation.

you need that and a switch that makes it not work if the hood is up. you should have a professional install it for sure. Its actually complicated.
