I have a 1995 Mazda B2300 pickup and i just got new speakers for my truck. I will be replacing the speakers in the doors soon and was wondering if any one has any tips to help me out. U know maybe any tools i need or what to watch out for so i don't break the panel or maybe something to help make the processes easier. Any help would be great. Thank you.

  1. some older vehicles may have a separate cover over the speaker which you can pop off instead of the whole door panel so make sure you check if it's one of those or not and if it's not there will be plastic clips in the door panel that hold the panel to the door. These clips can and do break I know from the shop I work in but they are made to be replaced so it shouldn't be a big deal if one or two accidentally break. There is a special tool that is used but it can be a nuisance when you can't find the clips. On a final not start at the bottom of the door panel and work your way up. Hope this helps.
