Help with report about Sustainable Development...

I need to have my report next week regarding Sustainable development. The thing is, we could present it anyway we want. My other classmates like those presenting about Environment made a story book and one even brought butterflies in class... The problem is, I think Sustainable Development is so broad that I don't know how I would present it. I want my report to be creative...any suggestions??? And what about Sustainable development can I present that won't make my presentation boring???

Sustainable development is a really broad topic.  

Maybe you could talk about insulation?  There are tons of different "green" alternatives for insulation and adding insulation to buildings is the most sustainable thing folks can do.  It can drastically reduce energy usage for heating and cooling.

You could get some samples of the different kinds of sustainable insulation and talk about the advantages and disadvantages of each.

Some examples:

cellulose

veg. based spray foam

straw bale

recycled denim

wool

some people even use old clothing (natural fibers)

foil coated bubble wrap stuff (I can't remember the name of it right now)

Maybe you could even make a model house (small enough to carry) and in each wall of it put a little of each type of insulation to demonstrate it?
